              About Us

              Hi, I'm Amanda Johnsen, an independent insurance broker based in Needville, helping individuals, families, Medicare beneficiaries, and small businesses navigate insurance with confidence.

              I believe insurance should be explained—not sold. My approach is simple: listen first, educate, and help people find coverage that fits their needs. I never charge for consultations or insurance reviews, and I'm committed to being a trusted resource long after enrollment.

              I'm proud to be active in our community as a member of the Needville Area Chamber of Commerce, an Ambassador with the Central Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, a volunteer with AARP's Fraud Watch Network, and a member of the Fort Bend County Family & Community Health Advisory Board. I also support Rosenberg National Little League and serve on the LCISD Career & Technical Education Advisory Board.

              In addition to insurance services, I'm a commissioned Texas Notary Public.

              I look forward to getting to know my fellow Chamber members and serving the Needville community for years to come.

            • History of Needville Area

              Needville is at the intersection of Farm roads 1236 and 360 and State Highway 36, fourteen miles south of Richmond in southern Fort Bend County.  The community was established about 1891 by August Schendel, who built a home, a store, and a cotton gin on the high prairie and called it Schendelville.
